The third quarter of 2022 saw a range of performances from the top five fish-themed games on iOS in South Africa. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Fishdom experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $12.7K in the week of August 22. Downloads ranged between 1.1K and 2.6K, with a notable high of 2.6K in the week of August 15. Active users showed a downward trend from 5.7K at the start of the quarter to 4.6K by the end of September.

Hungry Shark World saw a notable spike in downloads, reaching 937 in the week of August 1. Revenue also showed some peaks, with a high of $271 in the week of July 25. Active user numbers were relatively stable, peaking at 6.4K during early August and gradually declining to 3.9K by the end of September.

Hungry Shark Evolution had a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 79 and 486. Revenue peaked at $490 in the week of September 19, while active users saw an increase from 4.7K in late June to 5K by mid-September, before slightly dropping to 4.7K at the end of the quarter.

Fish Eater.io showed a significant spike in downloads at the end of July, reaching 860. However, revenue remained relatively low, with a peak of $66 in the week of August 22. Active users peaked at 633 in early August, but gradually declined to 58 by the end of September.

Fish.IO - Sushi Battle had modest download numbers, peaking at 75 in the week of August 8. Revenue remained minimal throughout the quarter, with a few weeks showing no revenue at all. Active users peaked at 142 in mid-August and fluctuated around this number, ending September with 114 active users.
